Help build safe, responsible desert cleanup. SoCal Desert Cleanup is bringing together the people, partnerships, equipment and support needed to move from launch readiness to organized cleanup work.

Express volunteer interest
Volunteers may help with future cleanup events, community outreach, documentation, event support, supplies and other mission-related needs.
Tell us what interests you. These are possible ways to help as capacity develops, rather than a list of open roles or scheduled activities.
What to include in your email
Use the subject Volunteer Interest and include:
- Your name and city.
- The type of help that interests you.
- Any relevant timing or restrictions.
Please do not send medical, financial, identity-document or other sensitive personal information.
Cleanup participation
No public cleanup is scheduled at this time. We are still in the launch phase. Confirmed opportunities will be published only after site permission, safety, hauling and disposal plans are complete.

Express interest through Contact now, and check Updates for confirmed public event information as it becomes available. Updates currently describes reporting and cleanup readiness; it does not offer a cleanup registration or schedule.

Equipment and in-kind support
We are seeking conversations about trucks, utility or dump trailers, cleanup tools, protective equipment, bins, fuel, hauling and lawful disposal support.
Use the email subject Equipment Support. Describe the item or service, its location, condition and any restrictions. Please do not deliver equipment or materials without written coordination.

We welcome contact from landowners, public agencies, waste and recycling providers, neighborhood groups, conservation organizations and businesses interested in responsible site documentation, cleanup planning, education, sponsorship or in-kind support.

Donations help build launch readiness. You can also document a dumping location from a safe and lawful place. A report is not an emergency report, service request or guarantee of cleanup.
